Why am I running?
Since the first day I moved into Cougar Village 2 three years ago, The University of Houston has treated me well and will always be a place that I will call home. However, during my tenure here I noticed a few areas that could be improved upon across campus. Rather than waiting for someone else to make a difference, I took it upon myself to seek out ways in which I could directly benefit my own University. I was fortunate to come into contact and ultimately be recruited by the Student Government Organization to be in a position to instill some of my own ideas for the betterment and longevity of the University from a students perspective. I sympathize with all students on campus who have been inconvenienced or wronged by a policy that was not strong enough or too strict to meet their standards for success. It is for these reasons I wish to be a senator #forthestudents.
