Working as an intern for Cougar Pride, he helped raise money and reach out to donors to support and promote the athletics programs at the University of Houston. Poyan never stops working towards the betterment of himself and those around him. He has participated in a volunteering program for the past 6 years that provides supplies such as food and gifts to individuals who can’t support themselves or their families during the holidays. As an active student at the university, he attends the majority of sports events, social events, job fairs and works actively with his old High School to promote the University of Houston around the city.
Why am I running?
I love the University of Houston and it is our responsibility as students attending the university to give all our talents and skills to improve the status of the University. I am willing to put forward my time to make an impact in the lives of the students and to lead those who need guidance in their journey of college. I am a political individual and I have always been a part of the governing body in the school that I have attended, hence this responsibility is not new to me but It will be different from past experiences. I am excited to be running for this campaign and working every day to earn your respect.
